Why did I start Au Fait Mama? Because I wanted to make a difference, even if it was tiny, to mothers lives.  

I remember when I was pregnant with my first and my girlfriend told me I needed to buy nursing tops. I went to the store and left without anything. There was no way I was going to wear the things I saw. I'd figure it out. And I did. But I ruined all of my tops by pulling down the necklines to breastfeed. That's when I realized I needed to make my own. And Au Fait Mama was born!  

I spent almost a year making sure everything was right....the neckline, the styles and the fabric. I wanted to make sure our shirts could make a difference. Hopefully with style, comfort or function. And today I'm so honoured by the response from our customers!  

Growing a baby, breastfeeding and mothering little ones is a wonderful but challenging job and it's important we remember to nurture ourselves along the way!! Thank you for sharing in this journey with me and for all the continued love and support!
